YOU HAVE BIG MOVEMENT AMBITIONS...

Training for your first marathon?

Getting back to the gym for real?

Nothing can stop you!

EXCEPT THAT NAGGING KNEE OR LOW BACK, THAT BARKS AT YOU EVERY TIME YOU RUN OR SQUAT. THAT IS ABSOLUTELY LIMITING.

IT REALLY SHOULDN'T BE LIKE THIS. I BELIEVE WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO LIVE PAIN-FREE AND WITHOUT LIMITS. SOMETIMES WE JUST NEED A LITTLE EXTRA HELP.

Conventional therapy methods and practitioners are great and can often offer remedy, but the real solutions, those innately lie within you and can be truly realized when you gain insight you aren't able to see on yourself.

In this 60 minute assessment, we take a  look at your posture and positions and we see if we can figure out what's limiting you in your movement, whether it's limited in basic movements or advanced acrobatics!

ASSESSMENT INCLUDES:

•thorough posture assessment, looking at multiple views and markers

•gait analysis, allowing you to watch your gait while it is broken down

•insight into basic positions and movement patterns

•corrective exercise technique suggestions, to help rebalance and restore your movement

WHY IS YOUR MOVEMENT LIMITED?

Of course there are many, many possible reasons for this and each human body is unique in the way it moves and how it responds to different movement inputs. But in my 12 years of experience in observing how bodies move, I have identified a handful of the common patterns as well as cause and effect.

Some of the most common reason for these patterns or limitations are:

•the amount of time spent sitting, which has typically been several years or even decades in most cases

•other repetitive movement patterns typically done daily, that have contributed to imbalances and asymmetries around the body

•other repetitive lifestyle behaviours that have adapted the body to compromised positions such as footwear or child-bearing.

•past injuries/conditions  that have lead to protective or compromised joint mechanics and subsequent faults or issues somewhere else in the body

This is the first step in taking your movement back..

AT THE END OF THE DAY, MOST OF US WANT TO KEEP MOVING WELL AS WE AGE, AND IT'S OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP OUR BODIES SHARP AND MAINTAINED, BUT, WE CAN'T DO IT ALONE.

I WANT TO HELP. IF YOU'RE READY TO TAKE A DEEPER DIVE INTO YOUR MOVEMENT WITH A MOVEMENT AND MOBILITY COACH, AND FITNESS COACH OF 12 YEARS WITH A DEEP KNOWLEDGE OF HUMAN BIOMECHANICS....
